1. Agreement for Training Services
By enrolling in E Staffords CDL School, the student agrees to participate in commercial driver training programs provided by the school for the purpose of preparing for Commercial Driver License (CDL) testing and safe operation of commercial motor vehicles.
Training services are provided in accordance with applicable federal and state guidelines, including standards established by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and applicable Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) requirements.
Completion of training does not guarantee issuance of a CDL license, employment, or passing of state examinations.
2. Student Eligibility Requirements
Students must:
- Present valid government-issued identification
- Meet state age requirements
- Possess required permit before behind-the-wheel instruction
- Be medically qualified where required
- Provide truthful information during registration
Any false documentation may result in dismissal without refund.
3. Attendance Policy
Students are required to attend all scheduled classroom, range, and road instruction sessions.
Failure to attend scheduled instruction may result in:
- Delayed graduation
- Rescheduling fees
- Program interruption
Repeated absences may require reenrollment.
4. Payment Terms
All tuition, deposits, and fees must be paid according to the agreed payment schedule.
Tuition is non-transferable unless approved in writing by school administration.
Missed lessons without notice may be billed.
Returned checks or declined payments may incur additional fees.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Refunds are issued according to New York State applicable training standards and school policy.
Administrative fees, completed instruction hours, and reserved scheduling costs may be deducted from refunds.
No refund is guaranteed after substantial training has been delivered.
6. Student Conduct
Students must maintain professional conduct at all times.
The following may result in dismissal:
- Unsafe behavior
- Substance use
- Harassment
- Destruction of equipment
- Refusal to follow instructor direction
Dismissal for misconduct may result in forfeiture of tuition.
7. Safety and FMCSA Compliance
All students must follow safety procedures during vehicle inspections, range exercises, backing, road driving, and classroom instruction.
Instruction is delivered using federal safety principles consistent with FMCSA driver training standards.
Students understand instructors may stop training immediately if unsafe operation occurs.
8. Licensing Disclaimer
E Staffords CDL School provides training only.
Final CDL issuance is determined solely by state examiners and licensing authorities.
The school cannot guarantee:
- CDL permit approval
- Road test passing
- Employment placement
9. Vehicle and Equipment Use
School vehicles remain property of E Staffords CDL School.
Students may only operate vehicles under instructor supervision unless otherwise authorized.
Damage caused by intentional misuse may be billed to student.
10. Privacy Policy
All student information collected is used strictly for professional training, scheduling, regulatory compliance, and business communication.
Information will not be sold, shared, or released to third parties without consent, except where required by law or regulatory compliance.
